THANK YOU everyone for coming to my first hosted meet! it was an honor to have you all there! i'm so glad steve and barb have this website!!!! i thank you both from the bottom of my heart! i couldn't believe when you pulled up thursday morning!!!! what a terrific surprise!
i feel i was flying by the seat of my pants and i wanted to explain why. this is what i looked like the sunday b4 the meet....i was in the hospital everyday for 6 days right up until the day before the meet.(i'm ok now!) needless to say i wasn't able to get alot of the things i really wanted to do for the meet but my AWESOME friends and mom really came thru and made this a special memory...you guys ROCK!
special thanks to my DEAREST friend bobby marquis who insisted i host the meet in his beautiful barn! he is the most generous kindest person you could ever want to meet and his talent, knowledge & charm can not be put into words. he means the world to me...i just love this guy & i'm honored to call him one of my best friends! he was deeply touched at the incredible panels pierre tardif, the peaches and mike z made for him. he's already talking about next year(he thinks we should make this an annual thing)...and that he will take time off so he could be around for the whole meet and do his magic to make things happen. and trust me, nobody is more magical than this man!
thank you linnie and don sedor who saved my ass as they came up monday and helped me all week! i could not have done this without them!!!i can't believe they are on their way back home....i miss them terribly already! i really need to convince them to move here!
thank you pierre's dad andre(we love this man! & pierre's ok too i guess) who did some great cooking along with my mom(who is just a great lady!) i know now that i should have just let andre take over on friday....i'm such a silly martyr! i'm really going to work on that though....really i am!
my friend kate who told me get the hell out of her way as she brought over berry shooters and served cheese and crackers on saturday evening(after pierre and andre had left)AFTER she put together a 400 attendee cancer hill climb fundraiser which raised 34k! she also took it upon herself to bring these wonderful meatballs with fruit, cheese and crackers, her own grill and cooked up hamburgers and hotdogs on sunday! then she helped me today continue to clean up...she is a true friend!
my friend shana...the massage therapist! who brought her chair and gave anyone that wanted a killer massage! she also kept us very entertained with her antics on the clear second floor. she rocks!
my friend sue who helped me friday! she just had a wonderful time with andre!!! thank you pierre she loved her panel!!!
gee lets see...the panels left for me....thank you thank you!!!! the peaches, mike z, pierre, curt, ron, capt ken, gary, rapid(my son is in awe of you!)and yes i have your peach panel! i know i'm probably missing someone ... my brain is mush!!!
kudos to kellie from precision board who totally educated us on their products...very much appreciated!!! thank you dan from hartco who gave sandblast mask and some great panels for doorprizes. one of your panels went to very good use...ask steve shortreed to post a picture of the panel you supplied made by the lovely and talented suelynn sedor!
i hope i didn't traumatize anyone too bad by making everyone watch the cameltoe video!
