I haven't used the airbrush in quite a while and since I have a great client that needed a 5 for a golf tourney this weekend and I couldn't get what I wanted I decided to just rip them out with a stencil and the airbrush. He supplied the shirts, I cut the logo/mask and airbrushed them using about 3 colors but that wasn't a big deal as they were all laid over the same logo for a multicolor effect. Now I"m wondering what I should charge - $20, 30, 1000/shirt? Bueller?

No matter what you charge for them, they think it's too much. That's why I quite doing T-shirts when I was a teenager.

I was charging $60/hr or $1/min. 20 years ago and nobody batted an eye. Most designs took between 10 - 15 minutes. The last couple of years I raised my price to try to keep up with the times, but I can't crank them out quite that fast anymore. For smaller designs I usually start at about $15 and larger designs start at about $20.

A local shop here starts at $15 for something simple and goes up according to difficulty. A portrait goes for about $45 and takes him about 15-20 minutes.
