My brother who is a lawyer approached me in doing a sign that will be installed over the office door of the attorney he recently hired. They wanted the sign to say Wolf's Lair and have a wolf's head mounted on it. I thought that this would be a perfect job to try magic sculpt on. Here is what I have done so far.

That's flippin' awesome, do you have any pictures of the process? What did you use for an armature?

Sorry, Kelly but I never took any pics during the process. What I used as an armature was blocks of HDU glued and screwed together. I cut them into a rough shape using my jigsaw. Luckily I just had enough of the Magic Sculpt to finish. I let it sit overnight and started with my Dremel tool this morning carving. The only thing that I went by was a photo of a wolf that I downloaded off the internet. Thanks, for your kind words.

Neat...the hair texture is awesome...wondering what the armature looked like...got any pics...got a feeling somebody is going to be doing alot of animals in the future.

Rusty, in the excitement of it all, I forgot to take any pictures. What I used for the armature is blocks of signfoam glued and screwed together. I just guessed about the size and more or less made a rough layout of the skull. I carved out for the eye sockets & mouth and then mixed up the Magic Sculpt and started applying adding layers. I only used a 5# kit for this job. It was a lot of fun trying to get it to resemble the wolf.
