finished this panel today..tomorrow is the install but thought i would give you a peek at be fore it goes up. the fig and pear is carved HDU and the lettering is router cut PVC. all hand lettered on MDO plywood. all paint is Sherwin Williams Super paint exterior laytex.

I like everything about this one. I might have carved the leaves with a little stand-up for the veines that would have given them a few more highlights.....small stuff.

yea joe i hear ya...the veins of the leaves would have been a finer carve but i was weighing out the cost of the extra labor and chose the paint direction for the high light. but i like your attention to the details.

The colors are very appealing too, and I do enjoy the subject matter. I would also agree that the fruit could have a little more highlight, and the back shadows could be enhanced to give it more. Your idea is so crisp and the sign speaks for itself, makes me hungry!

I already had brown colors in my mind & was surprised when I clicked on it to see those bright colors! That is great! What did you use to blend your SW paint like that? Did you use something like Flotrol, or just blend quickly before it set up? I love it!
