The front fenders and rear panels are original 1957 Chevy Metal...It's all HAND LETTERED except for the Tijiuana Chrome "mylar" on the back fins. Nuttin special but I gare-un-tee you'll be able to READ THE NUMBERS and SPONSORS from the grandstands!!!!!! yeah, it's retro, but I just can't get into barbed wire, skulls, fire, crosses, what happened to RACING? Nice use of the reflective vinyl you have laying around. That helps the sponsors get their moneys worth. -------------------- Donald Thompson #1 Sign Designs 580 Templeton Rd. Laurens,SC 29360 864-682-7810 1signdesigns@backroads.netwww.1signdesigns.com

Love it when they come pre-dented... Nice look you got there, Mike. Very retro and great readability. not my job Ray, I just paint um....The track grader is faster than this guy, so air in the tires ain't gonna help him any. I do the "Squint test" for grandstand readability. If you can read it when you squint, it will be readable from the stands. -------------------- Mike Meyer Sign Painter 189 1st Ave n P.O. It's good that he's slow. I find that the slower they go, the easier it is to read. -------------------- Darcy Baker Darcy's Signs Eureka Springs. AR.

Nice job Mike!!!! As far as the reflective goes, that's fine on the deck lid, reflective isn't good to use on the sides though, it screws up the photographs. The tire going flat...all part of running Hoosiers, the sidewalls are porous. -------------------- George Perkins Millington,TN. goatwell@bigriver.net "I started out with nothing and still have most of it left" www.perkinsartworks.com

Definitely stands out like it should. Your right; with the printing technology today we see a lot of stuff going by with the lettering lost in all the glitter and special effects. Nice job Mike!!! --------------------www.bevinfinlay.com Bevin Finlay Artistry & Design autoartist@bevinfinlay.com
