Got to admit I feel same way about snakes, all my training has taught me not to be worried about them, but my feet never got that lesson...
Nice job Bevin, great contrast, I really like working over a brillant orange, makes final so worth it...btw, is this a ladies bike?

The Graceland Mansion... do you think the ghost of Elvis might want his portrait airbrushed Todd... lol
Thanks for taking the time to comment everyone. Much appreciated!
The owner is a guy and he loves that factory orange paint color. He picked up the parts last night and was very happy with the job. Plans to get the two side panels done next winter.
There is some history and involvement with cancer in their family and he was very specific about how he wanted the front fender design to be done. I put that design together in photoshop using a scanned image for the snake that he had provided and some reference material downloaded from Google. I find that I am creating more and more of my painting designs this way. Making good use of the Wacom tablet to customize different reference images to create my own layout for the airbrush painting. That design was emailed to the customer for approval but the tank layout was left to me just from his ideas.
Hey Pete; look forward to a visit as well. Once I get my own bike out for the season I'll be sure to stop around some day!

awe, so cute, the side view looks like he is so happy... reminds me of Bilbo my old Bermeese Python, at 14 feet long, he sure was a handful, I miss old Bilbo and the sounds of screaming Gienea Pigs. great job on the tanks!

Thanks again Neil. I hope we get a chance a hook up some time as well. Always enjoy a little shop talk with fellow artists.
Hey Rod, thanks and good luck with your new web site. Look forward to seeing it, as I admire your work very much as well. And yes; Boris Vellejo's work has been a BIG inspiration to me for many, many years. Not only as reference material but also in adapting some of his layout and application techniques, except in airbrush medium instead of oil and acrylic painting.
Would sure love to get over to your part of the world some day!
