Here ya go m-boy. I don't see why they needed a brand new shiny sign...all they really needed was to replace that "s"! Looks great as always Mike! You must know someone on the school board...they never call me!

Wow! That's awesome, Mike! Holy cripes you set that standard high!
I looked real close and didn't see any cookie crumbs. The birds must have snagged them when you weren't looking.

That really added a lot of dignity to the school. Perfect use of color and negative space Mikey. Now fess up...did you knock out that "S" with a well-placed hockey puck or was it buck shot? Love....Jill

I miss the Cadbury's Anne! mmmmmmm I got this job because the sign I did for a Ballpark 2 blacks away. The contacted me last May 2006! Why the long gap? I was working in Wisconsin, when I decided to come back, in December, I went thru my old Emails and there was the school's request for a sign, so I emailed back and asked if they got someone to do their sign.??? They replied, "No, we are waiting for you, we like your work!" Made me feel good! I'll show you the ballfield sign.......

Oh, I get it, Mike, you accidentally misspell something, and don't order the right letters, and need to get some more,so you use the leftovers in the next job...huh...that's the secret of your success, is it
And your cigar, that's to heat the signfoam to make alterations on site (like rekerning to fit in another letter you forgot), is it
(good to see your work!)

Mike, what do you charge for signs like these? you can email me if you don't want everyone in your pockets signscientist@aol.com or you can ignore me if you don't even want me in your pockets. Just wondering because I'd like to do more 3d letters on my signs and I don't have a clue, I'm mostly a hand letterer.

Mike! those kids are probably drooling for something cool to learn; you don't have to talk, just draw, point, cut, paint! It's a universal language, you know!!!! You can do it; besides I think most kids are more artistically inclined than book inclined anyway. Art is almost gone in the schools these days. Layout and design will help them get a good base in other things they do in life. I'm thinking about donating some short seminars in the schools with the preteens and teens. They're just starving to learn.

Hey Mike, if anyone ever saw you play hockey, they'd know you didnt shoot the hockey puck, doubt you could even hit the broad side of a school! Did you use aquacote so it would freeze dry like instant coffee? Nice sign tho, luv those green posts, in both signs, you better hope for a couple warm days do get caught up on your post paintin. Your weather is like ours,11 months of winter, one month of lousy skatin

Beautiful work Mike. Looks like you'll be wearing out your $50 router in no time. It really says a lot that they waited that long to get a "Mike Meyer Original". I wonder how many emails you had piled up over that amont of time. Had to be a ton.
I know what Mike means when it's too cold to do a new posts job, last week we installed a 4 by 8 sign on very ugly posts...was -10 f (-35 f with windchill!!) Our fingers were about to break apart when we put in the last of the 4 screw...
Life is so cold!
