This one's been a work in progress since December...
First step was flaming the snout with automotive paints...
Once cleared, Th One Shot paints took over on the lettering, logo and airbrush work....
"Okay, Guys! My half's done!" Billy and the guys in the body shop hit it again with another two coats of clear, put the buffer to it and bolted the finished ride together. Out it came this weekend...
Nothing like a sunny Saturday and new chrome parts for a little glitter.
This weekend was just as fun with a way cool buggy to play with...

Ray - that's a fantastic flame job on the old Chevy.....the size of the flames and the area it covers as it flows into the dark cherry paint is perfect.
I like the way it subtly flows around the backside lip of the front wheel wells....VERY nice job Ray!!!
You're one talented dude.

I gotta be honest, Billy Rollison, the paint wiz for Streetrods came up with the idea of dusting the fire with candy red to tone it down some and did it beautifully. With his 22 years of experience, it was great to work with someone who really understood what he wanted, could communicate it easily and gave me the trust to design their new logo right on the truck itself.
We've got a few other projects in the wings and we're both looking forward to working together on some over the top in the next few months.
Yeah....sometimes it's a little too fun, but hey, whadda ya gonna do? Rapid

Ray's abilty to render cartoons and comicbook characters is uncanny, he can put pencil to paper and draw just about any comic book character you can name, from memory!
