Good morning critics! I'd like a little input on these sketches. I'm happy with them for the most part, but for some reason the second one reminds me of a headstone. My wife says I'm nuts. Thanks in advance for your comments
After looking at this post, I just noticed how bad the kerning is in the word "Townhouses", Gez...

Terry... i like the sign shape on the 2nd one, but it's that coffin at the base that might be the problem!!!
#1 is more "outgoing", 2 is the subtle look, minus the casket ha ha

After looking at the bottome one again, I might just add you could mount this several ways to enhance it and move away from that head stone look. Like between two posts like the forst one or even hanging from a nice bracket made to enhace the design.

I am a big fan of # 2 as well. My main problem with the first one is the principal copy. I just don't care for the font...the open areas are a little distracting to me.

Hi Terry, I like # 2 better, too. Ditto what Barry and Bob said. Maybe the black could be replaced with a very dark green, if you think it looks too grave as it is. Just an idea.

I'll jump in. One question is; are we selling townhouses or are we trying to find Holcomb Townhouses? The top sign is a frown in shape, I would try 180° and play with the fonts from the second example on it. Is there any significance to the tree or roses? Need a reason. The bottom example shows a place more stable and permenant because of the base. A good image to sell. Good luck John
