This is the layout they wanted...

The ball is blue upon their request. I don't know what color the 7 ball actually is. The original layout had a black 8 ball. They said there is some significance to the 7.

It will be crackle finished. That is what I tried to acheive with EyeCandy so if it looks blurry, sorry!

Enjoy.

Very cool, Amy. I can't wait to see the finished product.

By the way, I sent a bunch of these to a consignment antique/novelty shop a while ago. I had almost forgotten about them until a woman came in the other day and handed me a check for 2 signs that sold in one day. She called today and told me that another person came in and saw that one that she had been looking at had sold and asked if I could quickly make up another for this person.

Funny part of this was that these two signs were on scrap MDO that I fooled around with in some spare time. One was just a joke sign that said "Laundry, drop your pants here". The other was a total screw up when I was first experimenting with "crackle" finishes. I distressed it enough to pass as and old piece of crap and they paid $150.00 for it. I was hoping that the lady that wanted the sign did not want the mistake again because I don't know if I could screw it up the same way!

Looks cool, Amy.

I am curious to know, what font is the "Priceless" text?

Thanks guys!

Shane, it's Rage Italic. I tweaked it a bit in Corel using the Envelope Tool.

Nice Amy!

BTW, the 7 ball is a sort of a burgundy color if it matters [Wink] .

Are you using Photoshop, or Corel's Photopaint with Eye Candy? I might have a trick or two for you to get a crackled effect depending on which program you use.
