while traveling 20 miles out of montgomery to the small town of tallassee, alabama to survey for a dentist office sign, i spotted this sheet metal pig for a bar-b-que restaurant. as i topped the hill there it was!
someone did an incredible job.
the pig stands over 15 feet tall and is fabricated entirely from sheet metal. the owners put a net over the pig and attached christmas tree lights to it!!!
you never know what is waiting over the next hill!!!! LOL
Whoever did it knows the effectiveness of sculpture to get attention.
I like it!
Thanks for sharing it with us Mark.

i found out through a little research, this little piggy is made from stainless steel.
also this boss hog cost the owner of this bar-B-Q joint in excess of 30 grand!!! (from others i have heard it was a great investment, it put his restaurant on the map!!!!)
the photo does not do justice, nor does it show scale.
when i topped the hill and saw this porker, i thought of the incredible 3-D work of mr. dan sawatzky of the imagination corporation.

Hey Mark, You can kinda get a scale from the truck next to it and the tree on the side, that is a massive pig! lots of stainless is the reason for the high price tag, but it will lirerally last for ever.
