Over the years I have evolved from 100% hand cut vinyl stencils to 75% plotter cut - Faster/more profitable.
Problem is that I am unable to find a source for the 30" wide non-punched Fascal Removable Vinyl #40428 White in Mat finish.
This was ideal for drawing designs and cutting unbelievable details and very easy to weed and clean-up.
There was a 3M vinyl that was close to this, but don't remember the numbers.
I have a two door gun cabinet to etch with a waterfowl design.
I must admit, it has been a few years since the last order and I lost some of my supplier information when my hard drive crashed in May of this year.
No hurry as this will be for local cabinet shop, and the gun cabinet was commissioned for a Christmas present.
All assistance is appreciated!

I have used a lot of gerber mask and like the low tack version. The last time I needed some, my supplier was out... but had a product made by Mactack called "Macmask". It's a translucent gray, very very easy to cut and use. Holds in place very well, great edges and releases easier than Gerber Mask. I think I'll keep using this for a while.

You might try Gregory for this. They have a wide assortment of unpunched vinyl products. You might also try the Vinyl Warehouse, a Letterville sponsor.
Have a great one!

Steve, I cut a lot of masks for a fellow that does tempered glass shower doors. He uses Avery matte white paint mask and lightly blasts with aluminum oxide at low pressure without any problems. The Avery mask cuts and weeds like a dream.
