Do you have to use 1 Shot exclusively? Any faux finish is achieved with a variety of media.

For a finish you are asking for, I would experiment with FLEX STONE spray paints, then clear coat.

Also, Sherewin-Williams carries a brand of paint for exterior brick work that has the finished look of rock, with pieces and chuncks of multi-colored whatever that can be rolled, brushed or sprayed.

Commercial painters have access to newspaper type monthly magazines that deal with faux finish paints. The better paint stores in your area may be able to guide you to those articles.

Maybe this is something you will have to farm out to the local artist-home decorator type of skilled craftsmen.

Hey Sunny, Here is how I do granite, although I would use acylics and clear with Pelucid.

If I am doing a black granite with pink and white flecks, I would start out with a white base coat.

Use a sea sponge and sponge on the pink in a very tight pattern. Then use black, sponge in a very tight pattern as well, until it is mostly black with the white and pink areas showing through the black. Using pearl colors will produce a very realistic granite since it has a irridesent guality.

You can do it with any color combo, using the color of the flecks as your first coats and the last coat would be the over all color you want.

Try a sample on a scrap panel first.

Call me if you have any further questions.

Cheers
