Have been given the arduos task of collating the sponsorship for the above meet taking place at Bishopsville in September 27 thru 31. Would appreciate any input ie freebies, door prizes project sponsors and general feedback regarding your wishes for this meet. Hope to see as many of you as possible. Any thoughts would be helpfull

Hey Stuie-baby- As someone who has been asking for freebies with little luck for about 9 months now, my advice would be to first write a polite letter, then follow it up with a phone call, to any suppliers. Ask your local sign supply houses for help in the procedure- N Glantz & Pioneer Supply in Pittsburgh were both helpful for me. If this doesn't work, you could always threaten to feed them haggis, or moon 'em whilst wearing yer kilt! Love Ya- JILL ps the linoleum is polished

hey jill, i talked with sgt. mike meyer of the 21st. Brush Brigade, Mazeppa, Minnesota recently and he is "pumped" for your meet !
bubba meyer is one inspiring sign fellow, ilearned a lot from the "Mazeppa Muster" back in '99
i hosted the 1999 december in dixie meet with a lot of help from my buddy sgt. meyer.
it weren't much, but the people who attended thought it was the best thang since sliced bread.
all had a great time.
your meet sounds like a wonderful affair, i wish i could be there but my schedule doesn't permit.!
back to stewart's post, if ya don't ask then it won't happen. keep on buggin' those suppliers.
(kevin ledbetter of 1-shot sent a lotta paint to my little meet and it was well received. whne you host a letterhead's meet, you soon find out who your "supplier" friends of the craft are.
