i have a customer who uses "Atlas" as their main identity font. so, they want the business hours, the drop box sign, and even the street number in that face. (ick). I told him i'd have to buy the font (he offered to give it to me, and i said no, that's a copyright violation). so far, no problem. then i went online and found three difference places to buy and download the fontt, at prices from $22 to $49. that's a big spread. i'm wondering if i even looked at the best places.

So, what are YOUR favorite places to "shop" when you need to buy a font to match? (i'm not really talking about the special letterhead created "signmakers" fonts -- that's not something your customer is likely to request).

There is a utility there called WhatTheFont on the tools tab to ID fonts. Check it out. Works great.
