I am looking for high performance pink glittery or sparkly vinyl that will hold up well outdoors for a long time. For what, you may ask? My 16 year old sister wants an offset racing stripe on her black car. And she wants it pink, at least, if not glittery as well. I haven't found any in my catalogs, and if it exists, I don't know if it will last as well as normal premium vinyl. Anyone seen it around before?

Tyler,
Sparcal makes a very sparkly metallic called Gemlite, Rose Quartz #1834. I used it on a truck cab at least 4 years ago and it's doing fine. It's a 3 mil HP vinyl but because of the high metallic content it doesn't conform well to rivits and the like. I've done 3 vans so far with the Smokey Quartz, which is a black metallic. The same customer just sent a check for three more so it must be holding up fine.

Avery has a Rose Quartz in their ultra metallics (can't get much glittery than that). Suppost to be 5 year but for flat, simple curves. They also have a Lilac Pearlescent, 5 year also. It's not glittery, but I think pearls are nicer than glitter.

Yeah Tyler like the others have said, it's an Avery Ultra Metallic film (SparCal is Avery).

GBC Signwarehouse (signcatalog.com) carries it under the Neschen converter name and they're a letterhead merchant.

The stuff is definitely very glittery and the Rose Quartz looks great.. I think your sister will love it.

It's also got a pretty agressive adhesive (I used to have the silver stuff ALL OVER my truck) and it holds up quite well.
