Thought I would pass these shortcuts on. Works with 4.95 not sure of the more recent versions. In node edit mode, there are several keyboard shortcuts that you can activate by moving the pointer over a node and pressing the correct key. The keys are:
A - Add node B - Break path at node C - Cycle node type G - Resize grid (origin-to-node) H - Snap horizontally to grid I - Select node J - Join selected nodes L - Set origin O - Convert to Circle R - Remove (delete) node S - Snap to grid T - Rotate cut direction Shift U - deselect half of selected nodes V - Snap vertically to grid
