Does anyone know of an alternative vehicle for slowing down the drying process in Acrylic Latex?

Alternative to what? McCloskey makes one for latex and also one for oil base, the latex has quite a danger caveat on the label runs about $20 / qt. very runny. I like the one made by Zinsser -they also have one for each type of paint and again it runs about $20/qt., but theirs is thick and feels good to push around. Floetrol costs about $5.00/qt. and works well, with less open time (dries faster than the Zinsser) but will extend the time.
