I'll bet everybody knows this one, but here goes for those that don't... When you have got a wrinkle and need to pull up the vinyl, you stretch it pretty bad and cannot get it to conform correctly the second time. Just use a heat gun with a couple of fast passes on that area of the pulled up vinyl and it will contract to its memory size immediately. Be careful not to get too much heat on it. Bronzeo

That's a good one Jack, newbies need that kind of info.
Heres one, when the letters you've cut are small or hard to weed and they keep peeling up, weed all the centers that you can and cut lines between the lines of copy for weeding, then mask with transfer tape, remove backing as is you were going to apply, then flip it over (sticky side up)and tape the corners down to a flat surface, the transfer tape will hold the smaller letters in place better while you weed in reverse. Once weeding is completed, re-apply the backing as you would with transfer tape.
This method has been really help us when cutting letters between 1/16 & 1/32.
Good Luck

Ha Ha....Ron.. When weeding 1/16 and smaller you could use scotch tape for the transfer. If fact use the transparent and leave it attached. Ha Ha Good tip though

Almost ashamed to admit, but I've been doing vinyl work for 10 years I've never figured out half of those tricks, but can tell immediately, now that I hear them what great tips they are.
Well Neil I did come up with your idea on my own. He He
