Hey everyone!

I've got a file that I made with CorelDraw and then threw in a little bit of EyeCandy. I want to take this .cdr and export it as a .jpg but when I do this it comes out black & white for some reason. Any ideas?

Also, when I export images to a .jpg the images always get distorted looking. Almost seem as if it shrinks the horizontal size but leaves the vertical size the same? Any ideas for that one??

Hi Amy:
When you export your cdr to jpeg you shoud get the Bitmap Export Screen.
Make sure that the color mode at top is set to RGB or cmyk.
Under size make sure that you check mark the maintain aspect ratio. Even if it is on when the screen appears click on it to turn off and on again to put it back on.(I have corel 8 and there seems to be a bug in there)
I'm not sure about the eye candy but it shouldn't bother anything.
Hope this helps. If not email me the orinal cdr and I'll try it out.

You may want to export that .cdr file as .cpt first. Or, Photo-Paint should open the .cdr file, as a .cpt bitmap. In Photo-Paint you can fine-tune the .cpt and then save-as .jpg.

Amy..Mario said it well.. Check all of the settings in the "export" dialogue window before just hitting "OK" or "export". Personally I use RGB 24 bit colour and "1 to 1" for sizing.
