Kudo's to Kathy! I don't guess that 82 replies (so far) is a record, but 82 with no animosity or conflict Has got to be one. Great to see the interest level in standing up & being counted.

Let's call it 20 for me. give or take a year or so.God I feel old all of a sudden. And to make matters worse, I was talking to a 20 something gal who works at the gas station down the road today, about how I worked there when I was 19. On the way home I thought Jeesh, she wasn't even thought of yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well.....I still think like a twenty year old, i guess thats what counts.

Kathy, great post! This one will hit a hundred easy. Ok, I will have to say I'm just a young rooster compared to some of these old sign dogs around this camp. Hummmmm, I would say...I started maybe 24 or something years ago. With this partimers disease, I kind of forget. I had a window washing, janitorial business. When I was living San Jose, CA. I went to have some business cards designed by a cool cat sign dude name Frosty. I walked into his shop, he had his stereo going listening to Jazz, pictures and samples of his work on the walls and shelves. My head was just strolling thru his shop. He was lettering a 4x8 with a brush, and was using a malh stick, I was amazed and thought to myself I would rather do something like this then be cleaning peoples stinky toliets, and scrubing their showers, or stripping, mopping, waxing peoples floors. Although, not trying to boast, I did score a job once because I told the proprietor when asked my experience...I said "I could polish a floor with a buffer with "No Hands" he said "In my 20 years I have never seen anyone do that, I have to see this." Ok where's the buffer, (I used to have a Pablo Cruise belt buckle) On a buffer their is a lock switch on the handle grips, I locked it and placed it under my belt buckle and balanced the buffer, moved my body to the left, the buffer went with me, you get the picture. He said you got the job! To make a long story shorter. Later I went on my own. Frosty gave me my first set of brushes, I guess he saw I had an interest in the field. Proud to say I can now use a malh stick and paint a sign. Oh and I am happy to say, it's been good!! well...sometimes, it's also like a roller coaster ride. In other words, sometimes you feel like you made a nice "chunk of money" and other times, you don't see any money...Cisco

Thanks everyone for all the replys. O.K. Bruce,we have a grand total of 1936 years. But.... if you take Bill Biggs' grand total of 229 instead of his 28, you have 2137 years. I really think that should count as total experience on the board because that is the total available to his career and he does make it available to us.
Cisco, you are too funny.
