I have used Oracal on banners. Oracal is some mighty shticky shtuff! I asked my supplier.....as I have always used HP on banners too. They said lots of sign shops used Oracal on banners......and no complaints yet.

I also use Oracal on my banners. Before that I use SparCal Promo Plus. After 10 years the only time I have had any problems is when the banner was not cleaned/not cleaned properly.

I use Oracal or paint, depending on the mood.

Thankyou Si Allen... Come to think of it...I have NOT always used HP vinyl on banners.. I used to would like One Shot on tara cloth banners. And if ya compare sq footage costs of vinyl to paint....its a no-brainer. Why not paint.... 2 banners ...3'x20'...red,white and blue.. UNITED WE STAND. Think how easy it will be to add a rippling vibrant cut of ole glory in the corner. Shame on me...

Calendared vinyl (Arlon)has always done fine on banners for me except if there is an event date or something they will be bringing back next year to have changed you will wish you used HP. I have also used the "cheap stuff" on basic 4x8 FOR LEASE panels and seen excellent results. No cold weather factored into these experiences though.
