Hi Folks, I'm in desparate need of some documented photo's of halo lit neon signs from the 1940's-1950's. Our permit people here in Bellingham, Washington are not allowing a classy sign for a restaurant in our historic district because it is not "period authentic." I know that halo lit neon was used then, I just can't get my hands on any photo's real quick. Thanks a bunch in advance. Don't you just love those planning fools?

there are several books available for this. one is called "american streamline". i forget the name of the other. i do have a "modern" neon book where you could order neon from from that era but am most hesitant on sending it. it is irreplaceable.
if you call me tomorrow, i will get them out and let you have the names. i believe i know what you want.
i will be in the shop at 7:00 am and will be there roughly til 5:00 pm e.s.t. or so. my number is 716-692-4248.
have a great one!
