I was just remembered someone's shop name that I thought is so cool:

"Signs of Expression"

Doesn't it belong to a letterhead?

"Shirley's Vinyl Signs" has a ring to it!!!

Seeing as how it is Shirley that owns the business and I do all the work!

Well, I guess it beats the heck out of "A**H***S Vinyl Signs"!!!!! hehehehehe

Hmmmmm, now that I think of it, THAT name might get more recognition!

Larry Kraemer of Elora, Ontario was always a familiar face around our shop. He went on to attend the Sign Program at George Brown College in Toronto. Today Larry runs his own shop under the name of Made You Look Design. Wish I had thought that one up first.

Master's Touch

It kinda has a threefold purpose....

1. Gives me opprtunity to express my faith....
2. Has that dual meaning of "the MASTER artist", and it conveys the level of quality we shoot for....
3. and finally....it gives me just the TINIEST allowance for being a smidge ARROGANT....(I mean, I DO OWN the place after all...)

I love it when they call asking for the MASTER....(Okay fine, that never happens...but still, it'd be cool if it DID!...sorta) lol

Hey!

I always liked that outfit in New Mexico, I think it was= One Truck Parade. Really speaks of the pride in ones work, to me.

Wonder how many "Sign Wizards" or "Wizard Signs" or just plain "Wizards" there are out there? Anybody?

I can't remember the name of the shop, but saw their business card in SignCraft.

Their slogan was "imaginality makes the difference".

How I wish that I had thought of that!!!!

------------------
"The most beautiful
thing we can experience
is the mysterious. It is
the source of all true
art and all science. He
to whom this emotion is
a stranger, who can no
longer pause to wonder
and stand rapt in awe,
is as good as dead: his
eyes are closed."

My business name is Happy Ad Sign & Design. Of course "Happy" is my real last name and I had to have such a mouthful of a business name because I didn't want to limit myself to just one aspect of the creative business so I included an abreviation of Advertising as well as Sign & Design. I think my slogan "Get Happy & Get Noticed" is pretty cool. It was contributed by Janette Balogh some years ago and I have to publicly thank her again.

THere are so many creative names out there. When I was in Cornwall a few weeks back, Steve from Winnipeg was one of the talented folks who helped me out. His shop was called Signs and Wonders. I wished I could have thought up something so simple for our business. It fits the awesome work his shop does.

But Sawatzky's Imagination Corporation does the job for us too I guess.

A couple heard I've heard of from Christian signwriters:
1. Maranatha Signs (maranatha is greek for 'until the Lord comes')
2. Signs and Wonders, I like this best because a lot of folk would have trouble pronoucing maranatha.

I worked for these guys at one point, the shop name is Crocodile Creek Signs.
From memory the guys settled on the name when they were working out of the back of a truck out in the sticks.
They had a matching pair of utes that used to turn heads and bring in work even when parked in the street

There is one in Lakewood, outside of Cleveland, which is called Erie de Sign. I love it, i think its a great name, as they are in Lakewood, which is on the edge of Lake Erie. You can have alot of fun with your logo and whatnot with such a fun name.
