Looks great Mike. You will use it more than even you think. You might want to add some spreader bars on those legs just for stability. I love simple tools that work.
Till later. Sue

OP: sheesh.. I already have $300 worth of 2x4 and 2x6 lumber layin at the side of the house, why buy more?
Jim, actually I was thinkin of some Gregory Light Control film as I dont deal with acrylics and hate to have a whole sheet shipped here just for this project. I did call the local places that do lightboxes but they werent very cooperative so forget 'em. I might toss in another two-tuber but for now it's OK cause all my vinyl is 15" wide and I never have to trace anything larger than 11x17. It works.
Sue, this table is quite sturdy, doesnt wobble at all except for minor differences in the leg lengths but since it goes on carpet that's not a big deal. =) It really doesnt move around at all with the legs secured to the top in both directions.
Whoever said ya cant have good, cheap and fast at the same time?

When I built my own table I used 2 sheets of 1/4" glass that I picked up from a building being torn down. Between the two sheets of glass I laid a sheet of drafting film which diffuses light perfectly. With a half inch of glass on the surface I could really lean on this table without fearing that I could break through.
Happy Signing.....Marty
