I have always found that real pinstripers surely are differnet from most others in the paint trade and during the summer are usually out partying somewhere. They seem not to have the problems relating to paint that most others often have. First off, they bring their kit whatever they go even if its to the beach.
The warmer weather makes you not wanting to stay at home or in your shop for that matter so if I don't show up for an after dinner conversation, let it be known I'm just out having fun.
Whats going on with you this summer?

Skeet shooting, fishing and gopher hunting. Where we live in LostPrairie, is the largest concentration of the Columbian Ground Squirrel in the US. We actually invite hunters onto our place to help keep the durned things under control. Really 'cute" the way they sit up in the sun and nibble grass and watch everything. Really cute until you see a horse with a broken leg after stepping in one of the "burrow cities" they produce.
Joey, isn't summer when you have your 85% off sale on pinstriping instructions?? Hey? Hmm? heh

I have a hard time focusing during the summer months. In our area of the world, sunshine is a rare treat, nevermind heat. So when it's out, all I want to do is go enjoy it.
I attempt to book jobs that allow me to be productive outdoors. We don't normally get heatwave type sun out here, so I love lettering outdoors all day if I can on a large truck job.
Other than work, summer days to me are for gardening, jumping on the trampoline, going for walks, horseback riding, and getting away for a week with an rv and a great campsite. (after the work is done of course)

In the summer I like to get out to my Gold claim and prospect for those little yellow nuggets.
I beat my way into the bush,Swat back the flys and creatures of the deep and pound rocks with a hammer!
Last year I entered a old mine cave and was in it about 75 feet only to be chased out of it by a Black bear! This year i have found a pit that is about 200 feet deep and plan to climb down into it to seen if there is any goodies left.
If a tree falls in the forest can anyone hear it! And if you hear cries of help you know it's ME!!!!!!!

I'm pretty much on the go when weather is nice. I just finished spending a couple of nights on a Sailboat with friends. I have gone to Car Races a couple of times already. This weekend I will be camping out in Clear Lake, CA along with boat. In a couple of weeks I will be in Minnesota and South Dakota visiting family. I recently took -up Golf (self explanitory). I went to Las Vegas and Reno already this year as well. Throw in a couple of Letterhead Meets and call it a year of fulfillment I guess, ......and oh yeah some signwork too!

I especially enjoy rowing or canoeing up our local rivers. Silently coming around beends to see the beaver and otter and herons. The fish are still bright too. ANd then to come to a secluded twist in the water where one bank has be erroded deeper, to just peel off all clothing and swim and lay in the su before heading back to civilization.
