I bought the colortones system (that thing with all the recipes for the colors)through signcraft a few years ago, but, I don't seem to have the dang instructions on using it.....anyone know if they have a webpage on it?

I also had a problem figuring it out. there must be an easier way! Look at color 108D-this is 100% maroon. Now look at 108c-this is 1/2 108d(marron)and 1/2 184bc,which means base color (white) Now the fun part-look at 108e-20 parts 108c (which is half white and half maroon)and 1 part 170bc(base color) which is black. the base color numbers are standard bulliten color numbers. You almost have to be a rocket scientist!

We found it confusing at first, then it started working and sure makes alot of matching real simple. We were good at it before, but always ended up with cups of color that were wrong that we'd need to find a way to use.
There is an instruction page, and it usually comes with the packet. Phone SignCraft and see if they can fax or mail it to you. If they can't, I'll locate mine and be happy to fax it to you.
It's well worth using, unless you got the one for mixing flourescants!
Lynn Carr who designed the system used to own Western Sign Supply in Oakland, CA. Has anyone seen him in recent years?
