I have my van all lettered up with Edge printed Graphics. For Three years now the vertical sides are still looking bright and fresh. I live in Illinois where the roads are salted every day of the winter it seems and that stuff turns my brown van to white.
So, without any top coat protection, they have held up pretty good, and these are the 4 color process prints.
I also have the hood lettered up with a 4 color process print...and it only lasted 2 and 1/2 years exposed to direct uv rays constantly.
What effects Edge prints more than anything is gasoline. If you spill gasoline on an Edge print and then try to wipe it off the print will come off also. If this ever happens, just let the gas evaporate, and the print will be saved.
Hope this helps.
