Well folks, Looks Like the Shortreeds are Migrating to Western California this weekend, So it's time to Crank up "Thee Ole Chicken Barn" For a limited edition of the MicroMeet.
Come on by Visit with Steve & Barb and share some stories, or even dip your face in paint.
We'll be panel jamming with One Shot, and plan to fire up the ole BBQ, so grab your meat, and a brush, and we'll have some greens.

We can't wait Ron! Looking forward to meeting as many Letterheads as possible.
If all goes as planned, we will be coming down from the hills here in Volcano, CA early Wednesday. We hope to spend some time with Stef and pickup a rental car in Sacramento Wednesday or Thursday.
Time is getting short, but we still hope to drop in on Jim Ingram, Jack Wills and font guru Dave Simpson. We'll try to persude them all to head for Petaluma on Saturday.
We still have to get to Adrienne. I'm determined to see her do one of her "window jobs." Stay tuned for a phone call later tonight Adrienne.
We want to take a second to thank all of you who have opened your doors and hearts to us during this trip. So far we have taken over 500 photos of people, signs and other cool California landmarks. Come join us at Ron & Kristi's this Saturday.

Ron i'm sure you guys will all have fun! Steve and Barb are some really coooool folks. I didn't get to chat with them much at the Conclave, but at Jackie Vaughns home we had a beautiful Turkey Dinner! Got into some good old deep conversations, not just about signs but about life in general. I was glad I took that little long ride. Ole Crazy Jack was there along with Victor Georgiou, I saw a big smile from Stefanie (The Moon Child) then a beer was handed to me, yup she brought the case but I only drank a couple, after I found out I didn't have to drive home I had a couple more so we all saluted. Jackie's brother Bob and wife Pat showed up. He's a real cool dude and an artist. Jackie and Stefanie's child and another child was there. So it was like Bob told me the next day. "You guys are like a tightly knit family" and you know as well as I do Ron, It's true us Letterheads are like that. I know you will all have a BLAST! especially when Adrienne does her famous Funky Chicken dance. Watch out for Steve and Barb though, boy they like to DANCE! They are a wild and crazy pair, after a few pepsi's and a couple of gigs, they started dancing, then Barb looked like she had an air guitar, (kind of reminded me of one of the Dixie Chicks) and were dancing on Jackie's counter, Steve was clicking his fingers started singing that song "Abra Cadabra" you know that song..."I heat up, I can't cool down!" then it looked like he was ready to do the Harlem Shuffle or something and was about to take his T-Shirt off, I said "uuh ooh", next will be that RED THONG I've heard about, with the kids there we knew we had to escort them down. I think they thought they were at one of them Wild Night Clubs in Fergus, Canada. But we all had a GREAT TIME! and I know everyone who goes to your BBQ will also enjoy them. They are two Beautiful people. Ok ok, I lied they had one pepsi and one cig. Have Fun...Cisco

Sorry I missed your call Steve.. OK....here's the deal..I will be gone to Sea Ranch from Friday morning till late Monday night....but..if your real nice...and bring him a beer Jim will let ya stay here! He knows how to get to Ron's so take him with you. Now, when I get back we can scare up a window job somewhere I'm sure. Even if we have to paint my own windows! I'll take you on a tour of some of my windows and murals nearby too. Maybe take the Ferry over to San Francisco if you want. And no trip to our part of teh state is complete without a drive in the wine country!!! Call me tomorrow am around 10, I'll be here. Adrienne

You just GOTTA make it if you can! I've had a real blast with Steve & Barb! Sadly, I'm unable, as of yet, to go - but things change and ya never know! I've had so much fun with those two that I don't have any voice left - can't speak a lick - which my hubby is thoroughly enjoying! If'n ya can go, GO!

I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!! (Oh, wrong host.) Well, from Jackie's wild country-road rides to Ron & Kristi's Chicken Barn it's great to be in California! It may be dark, but we'll be with family! (the kind ya want to be with.. the one's you choose to be your "family"! Red-thong and all! )
Steve and Barb are great people. If you're within driving distance ya gotta make it to this meet!
Looks like Little Moon and I'll be rolling into town at around 11pm and we'll see you all promptly first thing in the morning... at about Noon! LOL

It seems that we drive right past the Chicken Barn on our way up the coast.....so, I plan on stopping for just a minute to say hi. Look for me at around 11 on Friday.....but I can't stay.(.got non-sign related friends riding with me that are anxious to get up there.) Since I'm driving I decide where we stop
