I've been looking for this one for a while!
Now, to all the people in the U.S.A. who complain about "a client stole my art!".
Here's your solution. For a $30 registration fee, you can protect yourself.
If you're curious about remedies for infringement see chapter 5 section 504 on the this page http://www.loc.gov/copyright/title17/
You'll need Adobe Acrobat to read it.
I interpret the law to read that the violator is responsible your initial loss, (time & money invested in
creating the design) plus any profits the he made with the use of your design.
It appears that in the worse case scenario, you'll get a minimum of $200 plus legal expenses. The
best case may be $100,000 or more. If you copyright your work & enforce it.
Not bad for a days work.
