I'm thankful for this site and ALL the peoples here too!
Mike P. you are one really cool dude and your wife is awesome... it's not often I can talk "gearhead" with a chick! It was a very nice change. LOL
Can't wait to see you both at another local shin dig around wacky Cali-for-ni-a. (ha ha ha whodda thought? Arnold for President, eh? LOL)
...and Mike M. you are such an inspiration! Although I spent most of the time in the shadows of the crowd around you in Volcano, I do feel like we connected artistically. (At least I understood the language you spoke.) And your wife is awesome too! We didn't get to have a full conversation either, but the few words we did have were like pictures... worth a thousand words. (ya know? )
I love the diversity here at this site. The ****in' matches, for the most part, provides that "Dallas- Knots Landing" kind of drama. The sense of humor that EVERYbody has here keeps those laugh tracts going in my head when I'm offline and provides for stories upon stories for the locals here that don't surf. But it's the friendships that I've made with so many Letterheads here that keeps me here with "my family".
...and you all know that the family that you pick, way out weighs the family your stuck with when you're born into it! LOL ok, so maybe it's JUST My family of nuts and fruits then, and you all have GREAT blood relatives. but mine... yeah, we've tried to trim a few branches off the family tree. whadda ya gonna do?
Have a great November and here's hoping your December is just as much fun if not more!

Hey Mike P - where else can you really bomb out on a joke and still have fun? Nowhere else but in Letterville! If all else fails, you could always try the nightclub circuit :>)
Volcano will erupt again next year.

Words can't come close to expressing the reasons I'm grateful for this BB. So much I've learned. So many wonderful friends I've met here. Sigh ... I gotta admit, I would have never thought I could come to know so many crazies (in a good way), and some who have turned into such close friendships thru the internet.
