Got my copy of signcraft the other day, and notice Jill wrote an article about painting on vinyl.

It is fun to read a magazine and recognize people you've met, or people you feel you know because of this BB.

As I flipped through the pages, I saw Pierre Tardiff, Joe Endicott, Francis Lestingi (who taught us a molding class in Quebec) Russ Mowry (who is unbelievably talented, and a really cool guy besides). Heck, Mike Meyer even got a mention in the Bob Parsons cartoon.

Sorry if I forgot anybody, I just think it is really neat getting to know more and more people. When I started receiving the magazine five years ago, I didn't know ONE person!

Just havin a good day up here in the snow!

Thanks Susie-Q!
It's just a page, and even a yucky sign job, but I am very pleased with the responses. My mom is too! Now she thinks I have a "real job".
I know what you mean about meeting cool people. That is one of my favorite perks of being a Letterhead. We are such a diverse group. Some of the talent blows me away and pushes me to try harder. I have never met better friends.
When I look in email inbox, I see folks from Scotland- England- Australia- Canada- and tons of states too. I have wonderful panels covering my walls from everywhere. At least once a day a Letterhead calls to BS, and I love that. Sometimes it's Mike Meyer with cool voice impersonations. Other times it's Pierre with his killer accent. Or Catherine, just calling to check in.
I have traveled all over to meets and plan to attend & host more in the future. When my sign kits were stolen last year, within 2 weeks "Heads" had replaced them.
And of course we have Letterville to keep in touch. I love bugging folks with IMs now!
Love ya
JILL

There was also a very young Jeff Ogden right up near the front.

It was a great issue! I too love seeing so many familiar faces in it. [Smile]

I'm hoping the issue will have the same effect on my in-laws [Wink]
