Anyone seen this little gem? Anyone working with it? Don't know that it's a MacTac property---in fact, I'm sure it isn't---but the one I picked up has their logo on it.

It seems to work well, and I know one large vehicle installer who swears by it----any feedback or pointers would be welcomed.

Hi Ted...
After you get the initial lint outta them, felt squeegees are good. I especially like them for the final go-over...no scratches. Mine sez MacTac too but I don't like MacTac...just the felt squeegees. My favorite is the gold 3M squeegee.

they work great for un-premasked laminated pieces. i also them for window perf application (same thing, non-premasked and laminated). or when i get to missing the all felt, put a (soft-side) velcro strip over one edge of a 3M gold. you can use it as a regular squeegee on the bare side then flip for non-abrasive applications.

Yes Ted, they are mactac. I've been using them for 3 years now and never seen any other brand available. They are just the best thing for installing vehicle graphic kits and pinstriping. Very gentle on newly painted surfaces, and much better than the velcro trick with a regular gold squeegee. They cost a wee bit more than a 3m gold, but are well worth it. Once you've tried one, you'll want one in your vinyl install kit.

Yes, they're really good for following curves/contours etc. They're available locally here in Saskatoon.
Mine hasn't liked wet installs though.

I thought ND sold them also - saw them at your last trade show here.

Thanks Dale, but naw, we don't sell them. That's why I was looking for feedback, as to whether we should sell them or not. I worked with one for the first time a few weeks ago and fell in love....
