Hiya 'Heads, If all goes well, I'm headed to the USSC show on Thursday night, December 4th and plan to spend most of the day there on Friday the 5th. Will anyone else be there and where are you staying? Right now the best deal I can find is the Days Inn, Absecon which isn't too far from the convention center. Hope to see you there!

I got a room at the sheraton for 129 a night. I have never been there and dont know where to stay so I am close to the action. I need to do something else and cancle the room at the sheraton but dont know what.

I've stayed at the Days Inn in Absecon both time that I went as it was the cheapest that I could find online. When we got there last year and drove the strip into the convention center, we found quite a few hotels a lot closer for the same price range.
Next time I go, I will make reservations again at the Days Inn, and then drive around to find something close and cheap. If I find it, I would cancel my reservations at the Inn.
Last year at the Inn I asked for my money back. There was porno stuff on the tv that wasn't blocked (not my bag), they had a snowfall and never cleaned the parking lot so all the slush turned to deep ridges of ice. And then on top of this, when we came back to our room every night, the maid had turned the heat way down and it took quite a while to warm the room. Needless to say, I was a disgruntled customer.
If you have never been, 1 day isn't enough. That is if you want to see everything on the floor and then go to some of the seminars or workshops.

Checkers, There is a good Fairfield Marriott a little further up the road in Absecon, about the same price and not bad. There is a Clarion on either White Horse or Black Horse Pike (can't recall, there is also a tennis resort there), good rates, a bar and restaurant and about 10 minute drive fom the CC.
