i have always used the k.i.s.s. method but dont tell an employee what i.j.a.f.s. means.

Technically speaking its I.O.A.F.S. At least thats what I tell my employees who think every damn sign has to be a masterpiece. Cant be putting 4 hours into a 1 hour sign.

While in high school, I worked summers as a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner salesman. My boss gave me a tie clip on my first day that had the letters YCDBSOYA on it in gold letters. Told me that they expressed the salesmans creed, and that if I learned to believe that creed I would be a sucessful salesman. He was correct.

I prefer David Butler's version (at least I think it was his to begin with) for when you do something "above and beyond" the ordinary...
