I just got an email from Barb telling me that the Naniamo meet and Pierre's are almost a month apart.....
And here I was thinking they were BOTH in Sept.
Boy, do I feel dumb!
I ALSO figured since my free southwest tickets also expire in late september that I wouldn't be able to use them to fly there anyway.....dohh!
So......my point is (and I do have one...)
IF I can fly from point 'A' (Seattle) to point 'B'...somewhere backeast.....MAYbe I could hitch a ride with some kind letterhead who is driving from such a place as Southwest will fly to...and then MAYbe I won't miss what looks like one of the coolest meets happening this year.
If you are confused, so am I...but......
ANYone have any creative ideas on how i can get there? And I'm willing to share a room (I'm a good roomate, ask Cheryl and Alicia )
Please....I haven't been to a meet in over a year....

I am glad you are seriously thinking about coming. Hey post something on the BB that you are willing to share a room with somebody, that will lower your cost to 32$ a night. Have a look at who's coming on the BB under the topic "French Kiss A Brush-Attendees List" so you can seen who's driving in the east
But please act fast, the meet is almost full, I will keep a place for you as long as I can.

I was asked by another Letterhead if I was going to attend the meet and I said (jokingly) I was going to watch your thread and see if you got a ride if I could get picked up on the way over ha ha ha.
If it's any consolation, I am getting a ride to the Illinois meet...and if i can make it to their neck of the woods, onto Pierre's Meet as well.
I haven't been to a meet since the Kingsland meet that John Smith put on. That was so much fun. I'm with you on the dt's gal. Hopefully the Quill'nFitch Gods will smile upon us ha ha ha!
I sooo need to paint faster! (Insert the intimidating sound of a whip here)

Adrianne -- your Southwest voucher will get you to Chicago (Midway airport) which is close to the Rte 66 meet. (i'm sure you can find a ride from some letterhead in Chicago, or else take Amtrak for $11 to Bloomington). That's what I'm planning on doing (if i can afford to take the time off).
Southwest doesn't go anyplace near Quebec.

I hate to be so wishy-washy Pierre...but it looks like I will be having to move soon. I'm having conflicts with my landlord who forbids me to even paint art in my apartment...and it's getting to the point that I really need a shop to work in.
If I make anything these next couple of months it will have to go for moving expences....I hope to make your next meet, I hope you do have a next meet, that is if your skin condition clears up
