For all of those vendors that helped either donate door prizes or help provide supplies, We are extremely appreciative and will be forwarding photos of the event to you over the next few days.

I would like to give proper recognition and much KUDDOS to those folks and say again, without your support, these events would not be possible!...and The staff at Dreamweaver Graphics appreciate it!

and I am sure the folks that attended and got to see the possibilities appreciated it too!!!

Coastal Enterprises- Makers of Precision Board ...Kelly...you have some glass carvers that now have an itch to try signs!...Thanks!...and some gold enthusiasts that love the resin with quick size method!

One Shot Paints Frank, I hope that wedding was worth it cuz...boy, I think we are on to somethin that I will share at a later date with ya!!! I thank you for your support always!

Vector Art - Thanks!,Andrew Holmes. The first thing to go for the door prizes....It sure started the folks drooling when they saw them!!!

LazerLines - Joanna, Robert. A great supplier that seems to have more brushes and supplies available every time they show up!!!Thanks!!!! looking forward to using the contest board next spring at Fred's!

Auto Art Magazine Thanks Bob...Jennifer Bond, I beleive you have won over many new converts...The door prize went to one happy camper!!!...and many enjoyed your edition on Rick as well as all the other eye candy your magazine had in it! I am looking forward to your meeting you in the spring!

Fontry Thanks! Michael Adkins, Your fonts were right up there with Vector art on the door prize list of things to go!

AMAL, A magazine about Letterheads Doc, thanks for the ability to show others what has been a phenomenal inspiration to me...as well as the great article on Rick Glawson!

Reece Supply, Dallas Texas - The great folks at Reece donated all kinds of materials for use that sure made some of the projects interesting! Thanks Scott!

Palms Trilogy, Don Copeland Don sent in some great samplers for other folks to enjoy. I had purchased the complete edition at this years conclave, but now others will see the great(IMO) examples of what can be had in this purchase! Thanks Don!

Allied Plastics, Dallas Texas Thanks to folks at APS, supplier of metals, foam, and plastics! As our normal supplier of products, these folks gave us all kinds of media to play on! Thanks Eric!

GT Product, Dallas Texas Great folks that donated a bunch of rubber and casting urethane for reproduction of 3-d work that showed up to be cast!...The highlight was the fantastic reproduction of a bust of Rick Glawson, a sculpture provided by Fred Self. It was undoutedly Fred's best work. You could tell the passion and kinship he had with Rick beamed from this sculpture. Darryl, it was great to have your company's involvement and we look forward to many profitable workshops using your companies products!

and last but not least, Letterville, a great media to say thanks!...to all that came, and those who helped us make this a great success!...PAT KING...you da man!

How about a report on how things went? Sorry that I couldn't make it. Reserve me a Saturday later in the Summer, and Mike and I will come up for a private lesson in casting.

The David Butler Workshop is still there in the back of my head. After I get out of the hospital I will start to concentrate on making arrangements with David.

Raymond

I just noticed your post and hope that all went well with you!
I am sorry that you missed the happenin's!...and I am sending a goody bag to ya tomorrow along with some photos of the event...and as always, it would be an absolute pleasure to get you and Mike up for a weekend!...you just name the time and place...I am usually here anyway!...LOL

As soon as folks left, Karen asked me when we were going to do it again...surprised me!...but as you know, it is always nice to see your better half support your habits...especially me!

I have even started speaking with Darryl at GT Products...seems they have no appropriate place to demonstrate...so I have gladly offered a place if I can be there... [Smile] ...can't ever learn too much!

You will get a kick out of the photos and I am sure you will have a couple of questions about a few!

I think the one thing that I reflect back on the most is the attitude that Robert Nouis left with...I had no idea that he had so much bent up energy to explore...he was like a kid in a candy store!

It was fun and we will do it again!...oh...and wait till you find out what we have in store for Fred..it's a secret to him so I can't give it away here just in case he comes on but it should make for a very interesting happening next spring at his meet! I know he does not get on here cuz he hasn't figured out how to turn on the puter yet!...LOL...but just in case!

again sorry that you were unable to come but you were asked about and were here in spirit!

But what happened to the HeadTV Robert?

Send us along some meet photos, along with a report and we'll get a page put together on your meet. Any new Alton stories to report?

Steve

I had my guys spend about 4 hours running cable out to the sculpting area for direct hook up, mounting the camera onto the wall..etc...boy it sure looked pretty.....then went to place software...etc...and PEOPLE STARTED COMING IN ON THURSDAY MORNING...never had that before...but they came early to help setup...and my staff had just about everything setup, so the meet just began a lot earlier...oh...then when we all went to dinner, our evening was interrupted by some lowlife Mexicans(caught on tape)that decided they wanted the dvd player out of our new navigator.

and no computer geeks came in for the meet...so I had to let go of trying cuz I was pretty busy runnin all weekend...but maybe next year!
