i did send cheryl an e-mail and told her what kind of a fool she is. go ahead and show the e-mail like you did the other e-mail i sent you.(out of context) as far as her "fans", joey madd-at-the world, and bob heartburn(let's drop some pinstripe legend's names again bob) you two can kiss my ass.
okay cheryl, let's address your situation... you are nothing but a pathetic, lonely idiot in seattle who hates anyone who disagrees with you.
the real women sign artists that i have met on this bullboard are a helluva lot better than anything you could ever aspire to be, if nothing but for the class they show. (of which you would will never know)
you can throw your southern insults all you want.
just like you, i am not one to mince words. so just kiss my ass!
if you leave the bullboard and never post again, then i will do the same. either put-up or shut-up.

Know what? I've had some good times with both of these characters in the past, but I'm fed up with the complete disregard both show for our Laws Of Letterville. Forget the lack of respect they show each other! What about the vast majority of us who are sick and tired of this behavior. I've got my fingers crossed hoping Cheryl and Mark make this deal.

Wow! This got pretty hot, no? Most everyone here has always been pretty cool. I bet its cabin fever. Spring is finally in Lost Prairie and I get to shoot again! And on Sunday I get to ride my dirt bike with Lat, Liz, Paul and Dad in the woods. Cool, no? Forget the computer and go outside!!... and SHOOT something! hehehe It'll make you feel better.
Suggesting to Mark and Cheryl to "go out and shoot something" --- hmm, I wonder what "things" they'd have in mind?

Problem with saying it "like it is..." is that its not always accurate.
Cheryl you mention in one post, if a product, vinyl in this case sucks then say it sucks.
I think the danger there is that you may convince others here that an otherwise very accepatable product is crap, without having got to the bottom of things.
Here in Europe, Avery are very quick to help, but they need to have adequate info. saying they should go to the paint store and try some themselves, with some similar vinyl is never going to come close.
If I were as angry as you lead us to believe, I would first contact the Avery rep send him a sample from the SAME roll with the product reference nr so they can trace the batch, send a sample of the actual panel or try and recreate it using the same paint, and materials. That way you have a fair chance on both sides of establishing the problem.
I have had cast vinyl fail on the hood of a Chevy van not the layer that was in direct contact with the paint surface but the other 2 layers? and yet on the sides its perfect, I wouldn't say the product was crap until I was sure of the reasons, we always apply dry.
As for all the crap here now, I think Cheryl you can come across at times in a hard way, and some of your snap comments make me cringe. But this is quite an unemmotional way to communicate, and easy to be misunderstood. having been coming here since the mid 90's have seen many ups and downs.
There's alot of good in being positive, and projecting a postive image, you win more back in the long term.
I hope you and Mark sort out your differences, he's a talented guy, and its always a pleasure to see his work.
Its great to focus on the good we can achieve together here instead of using the BB as a punchbag for our frustrations.

I think if Cheryl and Mark and whoever wants to get ****ed and slug it out let them. If those who are non-confrontational can't handle this, don't post. They will give up the attacks eventually because the will look like ass-monkeys for posting all by themselves. It takes two for an argument.
I must admit I have enjoyed this whole thing it reminds me of professional wrestling.I love it!

I disgree Danny. The priveledge of posting here in Letterville is only granted to those that agree to the Laws Of Letterville. I often think some people have their fingers crossed when they push that Agree button.
We consider Letterville our online version of a Letterhead Meet. As hosts of that meet, we have certain rights and responsibilities. We listen to your opinions, but at the end of the day, we decide how we want to conduct our meet.
I personally think it is a good thing that we all have different beliefs. There are a ton of people out there that love pro wresting, Jerry Springer and other forms of entertainment that allow us to sit back and watch the worse us humans can achieve. I hate to say it, but there is something in all of us that enjoys a car wreck, a good fight, and seeing the sucessful and/or famous knocked from their lofty perches. I'm not saying I am above all this. I just don't want to be the show instead of the spectator. Who would?

Awesome quote Steve!
Your referee talents have always been first rate. It might be nice if a bb such as this didn't require babysitting such as that, but as you said "we're all human"

BOY---For a while there I thought I was viewing one of the Hot Rodding boards that I frequent. I always considered this place to be a bit higher in the food chain. Just further proof that there are “DO IT YOURSELF GENE SPLICING” kits out there.
