We recently was asked to do some graphics on a race bike. We have done them on auto cross cars before but not bikes. He told us his bike gets up to 200mph and was wondering if they would come off at those speeds? We were wondering if there is any special steps we should do to put them on. The cars we have done don't go that fast. I know this is a dumb question but after I thought about it I started to wonder myself.

Thanks

It shouldn't matter,if the vinyl graphics are put on well under normal circumstance it should stay on at those speeds. I've seen drag cars, nascars, jetcars, and top fuel bikes all do in excess of 200mph with normal vinyl graphics. If it goes fast they show at the track I work at and the problems encountered at those speeds are more likely to be the substrate they are attached to coming off the vehicle than the graphics themselves.I wouldn't offer any warranty however as it is a highly dangerous environment for the graphics,...fires/explosions/collisions etc,...

Ive put graphics and numbers, etc. on planes that do 3-500 mph with no problem. Just use 2mil HP.

I have put stuff on jets and dragsters, with no prob., but if you ever have to paint on something that's that fast, don't forget to put some wind resister in the paint!
