In California there are these signs along the side of the highways done with reflective materials advertising businesses that commit to picking up roadside trash in that section of road. Often there are prisoners that do the actual picking up and the businesses just pay the fee and get their name out as an environmentally sound enterprise that cares about the roadside. The state sells these signs and assigns the locations.
In California doctors can write prescriptions for marijuana. There are commercial sites rented as "dope clubs" where those with the prescriptions can congregate and get stoned. Some of these places are turning into night clubs where those inside can legally get stoned together.
I just got an order to make some of those highway signs for the Medical Marijuana Patients Union. Can you imagine a group of stoners wearing tie dyed clothes picking up candy wrappers along the roadside?
