MY GUESS? It's an altered style (and awkwardly too). I would just trace that and go from there....modify clarendon or some other large serif font.

Do we win something if correctly guessed? or are you trying to reproduce it? Font ID programs are available for your computer if one is needed. If other is needed...scanners and projectors are used. Hope this helps

Or, he could just ask us for help Pat. Sorry Bruce, I dont know what it is. I checked my fonts for something like it, but nothing close. Go to myfonts.com and upload your art and they may be able to identify it.

Hi Bruce. I'd tend to think that this is a font that has been modified...Eurostyle or Microgamma with the serif portion shortened. The other letter looks like it might be Serpentine Bold. Try those as a starting point, and my guess is that you won't be too far off.
Hope this helps .

Looks like three different styles to me, The I looks like Century Bold, the S looks like modified eurostyle and the n is definitely a type of serpentene, I personally would not use three different styles in one sign must less one logo. the whole thing looks like some college logo where the kids designed it. My Opinion you would need to scan and trace if so desired. Bill

Sorry Pat if you didn't understand that I needed help identifying that typestyle. Yes I'm aware of what scanners and projectors are for. Did you ever wonder how I managed to post the picture?
Thanks everyone else for making the effort. I just ended up reproducing it with rectangles and fillets.
Ken, the other type was indeed Serpentine medium. I picked that one up right away, but the others were definitely something I hadn't seen before. I am sure it's a computer font of some sort but my customer couldn't remember what he used.
Thanks again.
