I posted this info in response to an earlier post but thought that more folks might see it under it's own heading.

I have 22 different colour palettes for CorelDraw ranging from One-Shot to 3M to Oracal to Avery.

I zipped them up and uploaded them to my website. If you would like them just right click on the link below and "save link as" or "save target as" and you will have them available to be unzipped and installed if you need them.

I can only take credit for a couple of the palettes, the rest were sent to me by other folks over a period of time. I just saved them.

Hopefully these will be of use to some of you.

Thanks Dave,

I downloaded them, but when I tried to load the palette, I got an error saying it wasn't a proper palette type? Even though all the existing palettes had the same extension. I'm using Corel 8.

Any ideas? [Confused]

Terry...I just checked and everything seems fine.

You don't actually "insall" the custom palettes, you simply add them to the existing palettes.

First you have to un-zip the file to some folder of your choice. Next, using Windows Explorer, you can copy/paste them from that folder to the Corel\custom\palettes folder. The full path is different depending on where you installed Corel but basically you have to install the un-zipped palettes to the "palettes" sub-directory in Corel.

Once they are there you open them just like any other Corel Palette.

I am currently using version 11 so I am going by memory on the version 8 path.

I think it might be a version issue.

I have 10 and 8. Works fine in 10 but not 8!!

Good point Amy...I just remembered that I created the two that I made using Corel 9 and the others were probably made after that too. Thanks!

I don't suppose the two you made were the Avery A8 and metallic palettes, were they? [Wink]

Incredible! Thanks for sharing these, Dave!

I have Corel 9 and was able to open all of them with no problems.

How do you like Corel 11?

Alan...version 11 is a major improvement over both 9 and 10. After a couple of months it is a stable as a rock.
