I'm working on a display character for our retail side of our business. I want the character to be posable...arms and legs bend and twist to a position of holding a reader card, sitting on top of merchandise...pointing to something. Anyone have an idea on creating such posable legs/arms? Remember the early Mickey Mouse cartoons? Just thin black legs and arms and white gloves for hands? That's what I want. Maybe 1/4" copper wire or other kind of wire inside 1/2" rubber like tubing? What make up of wire could take repeated re-shaping and bending? Thanks ahead of time.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Romex could be good. That double strand white house wiring stuff. The hose idea sounds good, or the 1-1/2" black foam pipe insulation stuff.
