We bought 2nd hand a Gerber HS15 plus plotter. It came with a pounce wheel. Does anyone know where to get the punched paper so we can give it a try? Any suggestions on how to use the pounce wheel?
Thanks in advance.

Do a test weight - usally right to the max and then some.
Ilike to pen plot first and then pounce. You should be able to set your plotter to start at the beginning in your cut software Be sure to use your knife mode for the pounce wheel - otherwise it will tear the paper.
Hope this helps.

When I had my shop, we used to always do the pounce in reverse...still samnded after tho. It just worked better. Drawing with pen first is good, hard to see pounce, until you rub with a pounce bag or charcoal stick. MKostly I would pen plot, and hand pounce, love thkose sore fingers!!

I acquired my HS15 plus second hand also. I bought from Ameriban a roll of paper that is much too light in weight, as it tears sometimes during pouncing. The highest pressure setting would be best with at least 20lb. or up in paper should be good. Slowing down the speed helps a lot also.

i do this....save the long runs of backing paper!!! i use a pen and then make the drawing of the pattern on the back side of the backing paper! make use of all that wasted paper.
