I remember a little while back there was a post concerning full color business cards and where to get them printed. A number of folks reponded with the names of a few companies and some mighty nice prices. I'm getting ready to have to order some and would like to do them up nice this go round. A search on the subject didn't turn up what I was looking for. A little help please

I've used www.postcardpress.com a couple times. I like the results and the prices. They have a page with instructions for file setup and types they will accept.

George, I have also ordered from Post Card Press.Their work is excellent. They are located in California and have a 3 day turn around, of course you got to add shipping time. I am about to order my own business cards with black copy on the back side for $72 for a 1000. Shipping for the first 1000 is $9 to Georgia and $4 for every additional 1000. You need to start with an oversized card - 2.125" X 3.625" and send a 300 dpi eps file. if you need any help, call or send an e-mail. Their website has an 800 # listed if you need any help processing your order. Judy

I use www.4colorprint.com. Full color on one side, and black and white on the back....1,000 cards for $59. Razor sharp images. Anything you can create in Photoshop, illustrator, etc...they can do. They have tons of actual samples on their web site.
I'm very impressed. Good luck.

Any of these suppliers have prices decent enough to act as a wholesaler? I'd like to offer business cards, brochures, fliers as a part of my business, but I'm wondering if I can compete with local shops.
Of course, around here nobody prints them themselves so they should be in the same boat, right?

I also mentioned this a couple of times but don't know if anyone took advantage of it.
I became a "dealer" at Color Cards Direct(all you do is register your business name & address with them). I get 1000 full color cards for $33 + shipping & $27/ea. additional 1000! I then turn around and retail them for $99. The least expensive full color cards here in town are $139/retail. I can now offer my customers the best deal in town. Just go to www.colorcardsdirect.com
Hold that thought! I just went to their new website and saw that their prices went up to $34.95/1000 and $28.95/ea. additional 1000.
The quality has been excellent. You can either FTP your files via the web or ship them a disk with your files.
There is another place that I just received a brochure, etc. in the last week from... They are called CMYK BC.com they are offering 1000 cards for $29.95, 5-7 day turnaround and the same paper, quality, etc. as CCD. They also have 1000 full color postcards for $128. The samples I received looked excellent.
Both of these companies are out of Troy, Michigan. On my next order for either me or a customer, I will be trying CMYK. Their web address is: www.cmykbc.com
THEY BOTH SELL TO THE TRADE ONLY!
Hope this helps!

I use americasprinter.com the prices are in the same ballpark as the ones mentioned, great quality, they also do postcards, flyers and brochures. But one thing puzzles me, last week there was a big hurrah about the gal with the trucking company doing her own trucks and taking business away from a sign shop.....aren't we taking business away from our local print shops? Just a thought..........

Postcard Press does great work as said above. Ive used them about 12 different times and the quality is always the same, great! Mark, I started offering these cards after I searched high and low for someone to print full color cards for me. None of the printers in my area even knew where to get them. So now I offer them as a side service due to that fact. Most people still want the plain black and white cards, but every now and then one will order some full color jobs.
