HI all!! Today was one of them days.... I had to de-letter and de-stripe a 2000 Dodge Durango.. It was all going fine, I stripped off all the lettering and all the stipes with my Lil Chizler and Rapid Remover--I would never do a job without them They work great!! and then it happened.. I was asked if I could prep the vehicle to go back to the dealer because the lease was up.. I got the nozzle of the pressure washer to close to the paint and blew off the clearcoat on two doors.. about a two inch by 30 inch swath just gone!! Doesn't it suck? Well I just had to air out what was a good day gone bad-- And just so every knows the lil chizler and rapid remover had nothing to do with this.. This was all my stupidity.. o well what can you do?

Jason.....yes I have had plenty of days like you had! Today for me consisted of 3 customers changing their minds several times on their designs. But just remember tomorrow is a new day.....and may just go smooth as silk. Posts: 3729 | From: Seattle | Registered: Sep 1999

I don''t trust pressure washers anymore. I prefer to hand wash. The new base/clear paint jobs are just too weak. My new Chevy Silverado scratches soooo easy.
Sorry for your misfortune, and charge 'em extra for the goust stripes.
