Last week I received a brochure and CDrom in the mail to try out Vinyl Master Pro. It had a 10 minute tutorial on it and it seemed like it had all the answers to design layout and vinyl set up. It also had a trial version. It seems alot like Corel (which I use) but it has alot of neat features of the sign cutting programs like CasMAte (that I use too) What do you think? Has anyone bought it? ($499 US) Sounds like a decent price. Has anyone had problems? Thanks, Judy

Judy,

Call Michael Boone up in Sodus. He will be more than happy to fill you in on Vinyl Mater Pro. His number is 315-483-8001 at the shop.

Hope all is well with you.

Have a great one!

I like VMP because it feels alot like Corel. Great node editing tools. I used it along with Flexi for a few months until I made my decision to go with VMP. Also no dongle.
I just upgraded to 2.5 for a minimal charge.

About the only things I wished it had is the option to do corner rounding when you outline, esp. serif letters, so the serifs would not be so exaggerated and I would like the guides to be moveable and deletable like Corel's. Also, it is not as easy to delete a file like Corel.

Thanks David,
I've never used the speed weed tool, is it new for ver 2.5? I've just loaded the upgrade.
