I was contacted to look at some glass to have a pattern etched into at Cornell University, in Ithaca, NY. They had this sample of etched glass that is "outstanding"!!!! It is from the Milgard Tempering company. They screenprint a frit on the glass, then when the glass is tempered, the frit is permanently fused into the glass. The result is awusome! It is smoother than sandblasting but has a unique frost look. Pictures do not do it justice! They send a sample, shown, worth looking at.

here is a link: http://www.milgardtempering.com/html/etchmatt.html

They do up 60"x120" glass. I do not know pricing! [IMG]http://www.vickiosigns.com/graphics/tempetch.jpg -

Tony,

You can just go back in your first post with the edit post feature, add the [/img] at the end of the link, and then I can delete my link to the pic.

I think the picture gives us a good idea what these people can do...which is really neeeeet!

Hey, Tony,

I just took a look at your web site--Great!

On the Coors project I notice a jack stand rig a guy is sitting on. Tell us about that. What holds it together? It looks adjustable.

Always curious.

Til later, Sue
