It's not important at all, I'm just damn curious. My son asked me this question a couple of days ago and for the life of me I cannot find an answer. I figured one of you all would know...

How far is a "click" in military measurement terms? As in, "we have to relocate 4 clicks south of here." This has been bugging me for 2 days (I guess I gotta get a life). It's just been bugging me 'cuz I can usually find an answer to about anything in books, the web, friends, etc.

Thanks!

I was told that it was 1000 yds. by a guy who said that's the way they measured it in Vietnam.

It sounds more like the consensus is 1 kilometer?

Thanks again folks!!
