That's a definate no-no around here (Detroit). The Red Wings franchise prosecutes swiftly on any infringement, and allow only those licensed to sell it. I know the stories because I am familiar with a lettering/sports shop around here who is licensed.

It's not that they won, it's the Detroit fans that flood down here when we play them. A lot of people who are usually Lightning fans don their 30 year old ratty Redwings gear for that one game. The Ice Palace becomes a sea of red. The cheers for a Wing goal are louder than for a Bolt goal. It was so sweet year before last when we had them 3-0 after one with NO shots on goal and held on to win 3-0. I actually like a lot of their players, it's the bandwagoners I don't care for.

Well this Wing's fan went down last year to see the Lightning-Penguins game. Great game that had a overtime win for the Lightning- a stopped penalty shot - and nothing from Lemieux. Great game, and all four us cheered on your team. Now that my daughter lives in Tampa, she has adopted them as her second team. Of course if they trade for Shanahan, they move up to number 1

I have to agree with Meyer on this one. Not that the Sabres are going to take a major run for the Stanley Cup, either.
Have a great one!

David, we'll take Brendan but he'll have to play for free to be welcomed by our owner. I should say "your" owner. Davidson lives in Detroit and could care less about us. Tell your daughter to come and see me if she's at a game. I usher at section 123-124 right behind Khabibulin 1st and 3rd. You come see me if you come down, I'll hook you up with awesome seats (except the Wings game, I won't have any seats available)

Hey Sports fans! Glad to see a little passion and emotion.
I would have to agree with you all about Steingrabber. It has come to the point where even us local folks can't afford to go to the game, and they are not even being offered on cable thanks to an on going war between the local cable provider and the team. There are about 3 million fans being "blacked out". Jerks. This all brings us to more important things...
Hockey. Tickets are in. 21 days!
May the Lord help the Rangers Defense. The Cup prediction was a bit much, but hey, September has always been our month! Anyone interested in catching a game if you're in the area, let's go. Messier IS a God, albeit an old one.
Hey Mike- Thanks for the US Blues jersey. Neat concept. Make Jerry Garcia proud.

Had the pleasure of having David Wright, his wife and daughter sit in my section tonight at the Lightning vs Blue Jackets game. Unfortunately the Bolts lost on a penalty shot 2-1. Always great to meet fellow Letterheads. He may come by my shop Monday.
